The Versapulse-C Laser
treatment for
Broken Vessels and Pigmented Spots

We are introducing to our practice monthly sessions with the Versapulse-C Laser to treat small facial telangiestasias (small dilated or "broken" vessels), and flat brown spots (liver or sun spots) and other forms of increased pigmented deposits in skin. No sedation or anesthesia is needed for the mild stinging sensation.

The advantage of the Versapulse-C system is that it doesn't cause bruising like the older more intense systems that explode the vessels and cause 1-2 weeks of bruising. The Versapulse-C heats the vessels which then seal off by fibrosis (scarring) of the vessel itself over 6-8 weeks. Sometimes there is a mild redness or flaking of the skin for several days. A second treatment is frequently needed and occasionally a third treatment.
