Liposuction

Liposuction, introduced in 1983, is an excellent example, of a relatively recent technological addition, and continues to evolve into safer and more effective delivery mechanisms. Ultrasonic liposuction (UAL) is done where indicated or specifically requested, as well as externally assisted ultrasonic liposuction, which uses an ultrasound machine to disperse the injected "tumescent" fluid into the tissues to reduce trauma, bleeding, and results in significantly less post-operative discomfort.
