What can I expect at a Consultation?
Dr. Jervis personally performs all consultations. That way you'll be able to meet, question and gain insight on your procedure from the actual surgeon who will be doing your surgery.
You will be asked to fill out a patient information form. Basic questions as well as general medical history are needed in order to create the best possible results from your surgery.
It is important that Dr. Jervis discuss your desires & expectations, as well as how a procedure will impact your health, lifestyle & general well-being.
At the consultation, Dr. Jervis will also:
- Evaluate your current health
- Based on the information gathered, your surgeon will discuss your surgical options and recommend a course of treatment
- Disclose the risk of common complications associated with the surgery and the use of anesthesia
- Cover what to do the day of surgery
- Cover post-operative care and recovery
- Pre and post operative photos will be shown.
- A customized price quote will be calculated for you.
Most consultations are approximately 1 hour in length.
We welcome spouses, friends, & family members at your consult if you wish.
