Oversized, drooping breasts cause many women to seek breast reduction surgery or medically known as breast hypertrophy.
There are many variations to the design of a breast reduction surgery. The size and shape of your breasts, size of your areolas, and extent of sagging are factors that will help you and Dr Jervis determine which method is best for you.
Sometimes it's possible to avoid the ‘T shaped’ incision. For some, a different technique may be used that avoids the typical scars. Dr. Jervis can discuss that option with you to see if it might fit your needs better.
Breast lift surgery will make your breasts firmer and more uplifted. The position of your areolas and nipples will appear more youthful. The areolas will be smaller and placed higher on the breast mound for a more appealing look. You may even choose to use a small breast implant to give you fullness 'above'.
Following breast reduction, your breasts will be more proportional to the rest of your body. You'll be able to be more active and your clothes will fit you better.
